“Little drops of water make the mighty ocean.”
A Public Commitment
2026 is a defining year for Teens World Foundation (TWF).
Not because we are doing something we’ve never done before but because we are choosing to do our work with visibility, structure, and accountability.
This year, we are building in the open.
That means:
- sharing our plans publicly,
- documenting our progress honestly,
- acknowledging our challenges,
- and inviting the public to hold us accountable.
We believe real impact thrives in transparency.
This article outlines our four key goals for 2026, how we intend to achieve them, and how success will be measured.
Why 2026 Is the Ripple Effect Year
TWF’s 2026 theme is The Ripple Effect Year.
It is grounded in a simple truth:
“Every teen we empower is a drop. Every drop creates ripples. Every ripple contributes to waves of change. And over time, these waves form the ocean of national transformation.“
Our work has shown us that:
- one trained teen influences a family,
- a confident teen inspires peers,
- a skilled teen changes economic outcomes,
- and a mentored teen breaks cycles.
In 2026, we are intentionally designing programs that multiply these ripples.

OUR 2026 GOALS
Goal 1: SkillXplore: Equipping Teens With Skills That Change Futures
The Why
Awareness alone does not change lives. Skills do.
Through our past programs, from School No Be Scam to the Teen Tech Expo, we learned a critical lesson:
Teens don’t just need motivation. They need practical, in-demand skills, mentorship, and real-world exposure.
SkillXplore is our response.
What SkillXplore Is
SkillXplore is a structured skills acquisition and development program designed to:
- train teenagers in in-demand skills,
- develop their mindset and identity,
- expose them to entrepreneurship,
- and provide real work experience through internships or project-based learning.
Every teen in SkillXplore goes through:
- Skills Training
- Mindset Development
- Entrepreneurship Education
- Mentorship
- Internship or Work Experience
How We Will Execute SkillXplore in 2026
1. Defined Capacity (Not Overstretching) We will clearly define:
- how many teens we can responsibly train per cohort,
- based on funding, mentors, training partners, and monitoring capacity.
Quality comes before numbers.
2. Strategic Partnerships We will partner with:
- training academies,
- industry professionals,
- organizations willing to host interns,
- and mentors already thriving in these fields.
3. Clear Roles & Accountability Key roles include:
- individual mentors,
- mindset development coaches,
- entrepreneurship coaches,
- internship coordinators,
- mentorship & progress monitoring leads,
- reporting and evaluation coordinators.
4. Building in the Open From planning to execution, we will publicly document:
- what we plan to do,
- how we are doing it,
- who we are working with,
- progress updates,
- student journeys (before & after),
- mentor and partner perspectives,
- challenges, pivots, and lessons learned.
5. Funding Transparency We will clearly communicate:
- which aspects of the program need funding,
- how funds are used,
- and what gaps still exist.
How the Public Can Hold Us Accountable
- Published cohort targets
- Regular progress updates
- Student and mentor interviews
- Public reports on partnerships and internships secured
Goal 2: Government Partnership: Advancing Skills Education at Scale
The Vision
By Q3 2026, TWF aims to partner with the Enugu State Government to run a one-month pilot summer skills bootcamp in 3-5 secondary schools.
This initiative supports our long-term advocacy for mandatory practical skills training in secondary schools.
What the Pilot Will Look Like
- One-month intensive skills training
- Delivered in partnership with brands and training organizations
- Focused on practical, future-relevant skills
End-of-Program Outcomes
At the end of the bootcamp:
- Teens will present projects from their skill tracks
- A mini graduation event will be held with with invited guests and brands
- Outstanding teens will be rewarded
What Happens Next
- Monitor outcomes and impact
- Refine the model
- Expand to more schools or states
- Pitch to other state governments using real data and results
Alternative Path: If government involvement is delayed, we will execute the pilot independently while continuing advocacy.
Accountability Measures
- Public timeline
- Schools and partners involved
- Number of teens trained
- Internship and opportunity outcomes
- Expansion decisions based on data

Our Promise to the Public

This is our commitment.
